Statement of Safety, Environmental & Quality Policy

Employee safety, environmental stewardship, and high quality products are essential to the success of Fleet Readiness Center Southwest in its mission to support the warfighter. To fulfill our responsibilities to our workforce, partners, and our community we are committed to the effectiveness and continual improvement of our management systems, specifically:

Safety – To provide safe and healthy working conditions, endeavor to eliminate and reduce hazards, and prevent injuries and ill health to employees.

Environmental – To serve as a leader by advancing Fleet Readiness Center Southwest environmental stewardship programs and facilities, and in the broader community. We strive to protect human health and the environment through pollution prevention, waste reduction, and air compliance.

Product Safety and Quality – To ensure product safety and satisfaction of our customer, the warfighter, by delivering conforming products on-time. We strive for zero defects in items critical to aviation safety while meeting all schedule and cost commitments to the Fleet.


We achieve these goals through:

Risk Management
We regularly asses risks, issues, and opportunities in each of our programs to drive proactive and reactive actions to address them.

Performance Monitoring and Continual Improvement
Audits and regular assessment of each management system achieves its goals and conforms to industry standards.

Empowerment
Everyone is empowered to report any safety, environmental, or quality concerns, free from reprisal, and is encouraged to recommend ideas for improvement.

Leadership and Accountability
It is the responsibility of every employee to comply with all applicable safety, environmental, and quality regulations, requirements, and obligations in the course of accomplishing work.

This policy provides the foundation of our safety, environmental and quality management systems and applies to all employees, visitors, and contractors.
